This post is also available in: Deutsch

This year NORMA Group is celebrating its 15th anniversary. In the blog series 15 Voices – 15 Countries, 15 colleagues from 15 countries report on their experiences at NORMA Group and tell us how NORMA Group has developed at their location.

Ozan Yildirim is Area Sales Responsible DS at the NORMA Group site in Istanbul, Turkey.

Ozan, since when have you been working at NORMA Group? How has NORMA Group changed or developed since you started working here?

I have been working at NORMA Group for five years. From my perspective, one of the biggest changes during this time has been the ongoing development of NORMA Group in the area of water management. Water is and will always be the basis of all life. NORMA Group’s commitment in this area shows that it is aware of the importance of water as the most precious resource on our planet.

To ensure that we can continue to position ourselves as a market leader in the field of water management, it is essential to be at the cutting edge of technology. We employees are constantly developing ourselves together with NORMA Group to achieve this goal.

What events at NORMA Group do you remember most?

For me, my second day of work at NORMA Group in particular was unforgettable. Together with my team, I was at the Automechanika trade fair. Automechanika is the leading international trade fair for the automotive industry in Turkey. If I hadn’t been at the fair, it would certainly have taken me weeks or even months to get to know every single product in NORMA Group’s extensive product range. But because of my time at the fair, I knew the basic products inside and out after only one week.

I was given many helping hands during these four days of the fair. Explaining NORMA Group’s product portfolio to customers on just my second day of work was challenging – it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my great team. This team spirit is one of the aspects I value so much in my daily work at NORMA Group. We do not work against each other but with each other.

What do you wish for the future of NORMA Group?

For the future of NORMA Group, I hope that it will continue to develop in a steady and innovative way and that it will always be on top of new trends. Especially in the area of water management, I hope that we will further expand our great innovation potential. There are many competitors in Turkey, but I am sure that NORMA Group will continue to be a market leader.

Colleagues are an important part of my daily work and are not only important for the growth of the whole company, but also for the development of each individual. We support each other – I am grateful to work with such great people at NORMA Group and look forward to the years ahead.
