This post is also available in: Deutsch

NORMA Group is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The blog series 15 Voices – 15 Countries gives 15 colleagues from 15 countries an opportunity to report on their experiences at NORMA Group and tell us how NORMA Group has developed at their location.

Janusz Szwajkosz is Team Leader for Product Engineering EMEA at NORMA Group’s site in Pilica, Poland.

How long have you been working at NORMA Group and what events have been the most memorable for you?

I have been part of NORMA Group for seventeen years. So much has gone on in these years that I can’t even remember them all. One thing I do remember particularly well was the takeover of the sales business for connection technology of another company in 2013. The takeover brought some major changes with it: It enabled us to expand our production and increase our customer base, for example.

All of the events that we organize and hold around the world every year are also of great importance to me. These include our NORMA Help Day as well as Diversity Day. On NORMA Help Day, we get involved in the immediate neighborhood of our sites and help those in need. On Diversity Day, we celebrate our diversity worldwide. These events always clearly demonstrate NORMA Group’s team spirit and strengthen our international sense of community.

How has NORMA Group changed or developed since you started working here?

With the increasing number of locations scattered around the globe, NORMA Group brings together a continuously growing number of employees from very different cultures. This diverse group of people has gradually grown together to form a true community.

For me, it has always been a great pleasure to see the developments and changes at NORMA Group and, at the same time, to be a part of these changes – also in terms of innovations on the production and product side.

What would you like to see in the future of NORMA Group?

I hope that NORMA Group never stops improving and developing. Together, we can continue to achieve great things in the future.
