Conserving water for future generations
40% of the world’s population is affected by water scarcity and 700 million people are at risk of being displaced from their home countries by 2030 due to droughts. With the increase in floods and droughts, changing precipitation patterns, the accelerated melting of glaciers and rising sea levels, climate change is exacerbating water scarcity considerably. The efficient use of scarce water is therefore becoming increasingly important worldwide and is an essential part of our water management.
