NORMA Group is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The blog series 15 Voices – 15 Countries gives 15 colleagues from 15 countries an opportunity to report on their experiences at NORMA Group and tell us how NORMA Group has developed at their location.
Laura Pasini is an HR Assistant at the NORMA Group site in Gavardo, Italy.
Laura, how long have you been working at NORMA Group?
I have been working at NORMA Group since before the company even existed: I started working at the company “Serratub S.p.A.” in 1999. At that time, it was part of the ABA Group. The beginning of my working life thus took place seven years before NORMA Group was founded through the merger of the ABA Group with the German company Rasmussen.
What events at NORMA Group have been the most memorable for you in your time here?
There have been so many significant events in my 22 years with the company that have created unforgettable memories – I could write a book about them. For me personally, the most important memories include the merger of ABA and Rasmussen in 2006 and the integration of other companies into NORMA Group. Over the years, we have expanded existing business areas and developed new ones. This has made it possible for me to gain insights into new areas, take on new tasks and exchange ideas with colleagues from all over the world.
How has NORMA Group developed since you started working here?
The world around us is changing all the time, and NORMA Group is also constantly changing and developing. These changes obviously also present us with major challenges, but they also make our work incredibly exciting and varied. I have always had the opportunity to develop personally and professionally.
What would you like to see in the future of NORMA Group?
Even a large corporation like NORMA Group depends on its employees – people come first. For the future of the company, I hope that all employees will continue their daily work with humanity and passion. We are a great global team.
